There are so many reasons behind this project, but at the centre, it's us.
The New Delhi Company as a brand name embodies this idea about looking out towards 'the new' South Asian. The next generation of South Asians globally. The diaspora's children, and their children.
What elements of our beautiful and rich history are we carrying forward? What are we unlearning and leaving behind? What are we digging into and learning with intention? How do we do all of this in an aesthetically beautiful way that feels warm and welcoming and loving?
These are the things I want in my life. Perhaps a few other spirits do as well.
